At Mihi Digital, the best websites begin with listening, and when the team behind The Sunray in Osmington approached us to create their new website, they weren’t simply launching a pub. They were reviving a Dorset landmark – one with nearly a century of stories and history behind it.

Located in the picturesque village of Osmington on the edge of the iconic Jurassic Coast, The Sunray has undergone a remarkable transformation, and they needed a new website to reflect this. The historic pub and its neighbouring luxury holiday cottages have been carefully restored, creating a unique destination where guests can eat, drink and stay in one of Dorset’s most beautiful coastal locations.

Our role was to design a website that would capture this vision and bring it to life digitally and rather than forcing a template or rigid structure, we worked closely with the client to understand:

• the story of the pub

• the positioning of the cottages

• the type of guests they wanted to attract

• how visitors should feel when they arrive on the website

The result is a site that feels calm, aspirational and welcoming, mirroring the experience guests will have when they visit in person.

We’ve made the site as easy as possible to navigate, introduced brand new copy to showcase Greenways’ work in a light it deserves and the image gallery has had a little spruce up, by merging the older style imagery with brand new professionally taken shots.

The Two Moors Way is a stunning walking route from Ivybridge on the southern edge of Dartmoor to Lynmouth on the north Devon coast in Exmoor. Starting as a mere 102 miles of breathtaking exploration, an optional 15 miles was added onto the southern end – all the way to Wembury – making the route a coast to beautiful coast adventure.

Now, we thought we knew everything there was to know about Devon…how wrong we were! There are so many hidden gems along the epic route from quirky places to stay to fantastic little eateries that our ‘must visit’ list is now ludicrously long!

Not for the faint of heart – Devon is famously NOT flat – the new Two Moors Way website is packed full of stories, hints and tips from those who’ve completed the incredible coast to coast challenge to help you plan your trek. The Two Moors Team have also helpfully broken the route down into really detailed sections so that it can be tackled bit by beautiful bit.

The new website is super user friendly for anyone wanting to tackle the trail and includes an online shop for those wanting to buy maps, guides and merchandise, we’re looking forward to getting our hands on our Two Moors Way badge when we’ve completed all 117 miles! We can’t wait.

When we were approached by Visit Exmouth to build a brand-new website, we couldn’t resist! Having worked with many tourism sites like Visit Exmoor and Discover Dartmouth – the team knew they were in safe hands.

The site was built from scratch, with a focus on local events, things to do and accommodation for all, from large groups and families, to dog owners and sporting enthusiasts. We updated the branding and created a new logo too!

Users can upload their own events through our integrated editing software and are provided with up-to-date information on special offers direct from local restaurants, shopping and accommodation businesses – as and when they arise.

Your ideal morning in Exmouth might look like an Alfresco seafront breakfast, before meandering through the winding streets with a coffee in hand – later taking the dog for a run on the beach and beyond! Perhaps you’d rather get on the water with one of the many watersport activities to choose from – ever tried paddleboarding? At night – you’ll be spoilt for choice with local gigs, live shows, and comedy nights on tap.
