Bude-based business communications specialist VC Warehouse has announced the launch of a new brand to cater for an increased demand in VoIP telephone services.

The new brand, called ‘The VoIP People’ comes as an increasing number of businesses across the Duchy seek to take advantage of the benefits of making calls through the internet rather than traditional phone lines.

Mike Shaw, Director at VC Warehouse explained: “More and more of us are now becoming familiar with the term VoIP. The improvements to broadband performance across Cornwall in recent years has meant that the majority of businesses of all sizes are now able to have incredibly reliable, and flexible internet based phone system, often at a fraction of the cost of existing infrastructure.”

‘The VoIP People’ title arrived alongside a new logo, branding, and a website dedicated to answering some of the most common questions and myths regarding VoIP. They have all gone live within the past month.

Mike said: “It can often be a big decision to change phone system supplier, and that can be enough to put someone off. When looking at our new site we wanted to make the benefits clear, and give businesses across the region the answers to some of the questions they’ll be having and understand how it can potentially work for them.”
