Is there anything better than a Sunday arvo spent pootling around the South Wests’ gorgeous lanes, hunting for secret spots? Cliches? Us? Pah! We’re always on the lookout for a new route, a road to somewhere spectacular, a view to take our breath away. Imagine our excitement when we learned about the South West 660. Inspired by the iconic NC500, the South West 660 is a truly astounding road trip following the 660 mile coastline of South West England’s four counties – Somerset, Dorset, Devon and Cornwall.
Broken down into 12 unique sections, each around 50 miles long, the SouthWest660 will take you on a magical journey, encouraging you to slow down, savor the moment and make incredible road trip memories right here in the South West.
We were provided with the logo, colours and fonts; the rest was down to us! As we were trying to encapsulate how awesome our coastline is, the site obviously had to be visual! It also had to be able to be monetised, which is why there’s all sorts of listing functionality for places to stay, eat and enjoy along the route. From featured listings to certifying places as AA approved, there’s a whole feast of functionality.
