Bringing people to one of Devon's most picturesque locations.
Discover Dartmouth is the destination website for one of Devon’s best-known towns, helping visitors find places to stay, things to do, places to eat, events, shopping and everything they need to plan a visit. The organisation also supports a large network of local tourism businesses through its membership programme.
What we did
Curating a huge amount of destination content.
We created a large, flexible destination website designed to make Dartmouth easy to explore while giving local businesses plenty of visibility. The site brings together accommodation, attractions, food and drink, shopping, beaches, events and visitor information, with extensive search and filtering helping people quickly find what interests them.
Events are a major part of the site, with dedicated listings, categories, monthly content and event submissions, while members benefit from prominent business listings throughout the website. There is also a substantial amount of destination and planning content, including maps, accessibility information, travel advice and dedicated sections around the River Dart.
The result is a website that works for visitors, local businesses and the destination team, making a large amount of information easy to discover without losing the character of Dartmouth.
