The project

Helping walkers plan one of Devon’s great long-distance routes.

The Two Moors Way is Devon’s coast-to-coast walking route, stretching for 117 miles from Wembury to Lynmouth and crossing both Dartmoor and Exmoor National Parks. The website needed to inspire people to take on the route while also giving them all the practical information they need to actually plan it.

What we did

Making more than 100 miles of walking easy to explore.

We created a highly visual website that breaks the route down into manageable sections, with dedicated information, distances and interactive maps helping walkers understand what each stage involves before setting off.

The site also brings together places to stay and eat along the route, with business listings displayed through an interactive map, alongside transport information, route guidance, FAQs and useful planning content. Walkers can buy guidebooks, passports and other Two Moors Way products online, while the Association can promote guided walks, collect walker stories and give local businesses opportunities to be featured.

The result is a website that works both as inspiration for taking on the Two Moors Way and as a practical resource people can keep coming back to while planning and completing the route.
