Visit Heritage is a national discovery platform for Britain’s historic places. It helps people find heritage attractions, places to stay, events and stories from across the UK, while giving heritage organisations a place to promote what they offer to a travel-minded audience.
What we did
A cleaner national platform for discovery and member content.
Visit Heritage came back to us after working together on other websites, choosing us for our experience with destination, directory and member-led sites. We replaced the previous website with a much cleaner WordPress and Elementor build that makes a large amount of heritage content easier to browse. The site combines heritage place listings, places to stay, UK history content and a flexible events system, including event submissions, so members and visitors have a much clearer route through the site. The focus throughout was on making a national-scale content website feel simple rather than overwhelming.
