The project
A new website for the parish we call home.
Broadwoodwidger is a rural Devon parish made up of a number of hamlets, with Roadford Lake, local groups, churches and an active parish council all forming part of the community. It’s also particularly close to us, as I grew up in the parish and MiHi is now based here too.
What we did
Making parish information much easier to find.
We created a new website that brings council information and wider community content together in one place. Residents can quickly find meeting agendas and minutes, council documents, contact details, local groups, parish news and useful information about the area.
The site is designed to be straightforward for the clerk and council to update themselves, with structured areas for meetings, documents and community content. Just as importantly, it gives Broadwoodwidger a website that reflects the wider parish rather than feeling like somewhere purely for statutory council information.
