East Devon Excellence brings together some of the area’s leading tourism and hospitality businesses, helping visitors discover where to stay, eat, visit and explore. We’ve worked with the organisation for a number of years, and this is now the second website we’ve created for them.
What we did
Building a complete destination website from the ground up.
A few years after launching their first site with us, East Devon Excellence came back knowing the website needed to move on. They wanted a more modern design, much greater flexibility and the sort of functionality you’d expect from a full destination website.
We designed and built a completely new site from scratch, making it much easier for visitors to explore East Devon and discover the businesses, places and events across the area. Listings can be searched and organised by type and location, destination pages automatically bring relevant nearby content together, and a dedicated events system makes it easy to see what’s happening across the region. Members also have their own login, helping East Devon Excellence manage a large and growing amount of business content more efficiently.
The result is a much more powerful destination platform that brings accommodation, attractions, food and drink, towns and villages, events and member businesses together in one place.
