We’ve recently been working with Brooklyn Halo to refine and strengthen its Shopify store, creating a cleaner, more distinctive ecommerce experience that better reflects the brand and makes the journey to purchase much clearer.
Brooklyn Halo already had the foundations of its online store in place, including its Shopify setup, products and chosen theme. Our role was to take that starting point and shape it into a site that felt far more considered, consistent and commercially focused.
Making Shopify feel like the brand
One of the main priorities was making sure the website didn’t simply feel like an off-the-shelf Shopify theme. We stripped back unnecessary demo content, refined the layout and styling, and rebuilt key sections around Brooklyn Halo’s own branding, products and tone.
The result is a cleaner and more confident visual identity, with stronger typography, better use of imagery and clearer routes into the products themselves.
A clearer customer journey
We also reworked the homepage so it does more than simply present products. It now introduces the brand, gives customers an understanding of what Brooklyn Halo offers, and provides clear routes into flavours, products and subscription options.
Video has also been incorporated into the site to add movement and personality, while still keeping the overall experience quick and easy to use.
Subscribe & Save built into the store
A key part of the project was helping Brooklyn Halo make better use of recurring purchases. We configured and styled Subscribe & Save functionality so customers can easily choose between a one-off purchase and regular deliveries.
That gives customers more flexibility while also helping the business encourage repeat purchases and build longer-term customer value.
Improving the product experience
We refined the product pages to keep the focus on the products themselves, while making purchase options, imagery and subscription choices easier to understand.
We also carried out a dedicated mobile pass across the site. For ecommerce, that is particularly important, as so much traffic now arrives from social media, advertising and mobile browsing. Spacing, navigation, calls to action and product presentation were all reviewed to make sure the experience worked just as well on a phone as it does on desktop.
A stronger platform for growth
Shopify is a strong fit for Brooklyn Halo because it combines reliable ecommerce functionality with a backend that remains straightforward to manage as the business grows.
Our work has been about making the most of that platform: creating a store that feels more individual, gives customers greater confidence, and provides Brooklyn Halo with a stronger base for future products, content and campaigns.
