Wedding pricing isn’t always straightforward. Dates, guest numbers, accommodation, food, drinks and optional extras can all affect the final figure, which can make a traditional price list difficult to follow.
As part of our recent website work for Launcells Barton, we developed a bespoke wedding pricing calculator to make those options easier to understand.
Making complex pricing easier to understand
The calculator takes couples through the different choices step by step and updates the estimated total as they go. It means they can see how changes to guest numbers, accommodation, catering, drinks and extras affect the overall cost without having to work everything out themselves.
Importantly, it isn’t designed to turn weddings into an off-the-shelf package. The calculator is built around the venue’s actual pricing structure and simply gives visitors a clearer starting point before making an enquiry.
We also designed it to feel like part of the website rather than a separate tool, with the same styling and a responsive layout across desktop, tablet and mobile.
