Bringing a rural Exmoor community together online.
Wheddon Cross and Cutcombe sits at the heart of Exmoor National Park and is home to a thriving local community, businesses, accommodation and attractions including Snowdrop Valley. We were approached after our work with Visit Exmoor to create a website that could serve both local residents and people visiting the area.
What we did
One website for the council, community and visitors.
We created a website that brings parish council information together with everything people need to discover the wider area. Residents can find meetings, councillors, finance information and official documents, while visitors can explore accommodation, things to do, local events and useful information about Wheddon Cross and Cutcombe.
A dedicated local business directory gives businesses across the parish their own visibility, while accommodation and events sections help promote the area as a place to visit and stay. The result is a practical community website that also does a great job of showcasing one of Exmoor’s best-known villages.
