With its colourful cottages nestled into the hill, stunning location at the mouth of the River Dart and beautiful winding streets packed with history, Dartmouth has to be one of our favourite spots in Devon (yes, we may very well say that about them all)!

Our ideal day here might look a bit like a quick breakfast at Alf Resco, meandering in and out of the plentiful art galleries and independent shops lining the streets, an afternoon spent exploring the dramatic coast path and nearby stunning beaches, getting onto the water by boat, SUP or kayak, or taking in some history at Agatha Christies Summer home Greenway. And no day in Dartmouth is complete without squeezing in a delicious dinner be it traditional fish and chips or treating ourselves to a seafood feast at Mitch Tonks’ famous Seahorse restaurant on the waters’ edge.
