Upcoming Event: AI & Tourism Trends: What’s Changing and What to Do About It
Upcoming Event: AI & Tourism Trends: What’s Changing and What to Do About It
Join us at MiHi Digital for a practical, no-fluff session focused on how AI is already reshaping the tourism and accommodation sector.
Date: Tuesday 14th April
Time: 10:00am – 12:00pm
Location: MiHi Digital office
We’ll start with a short update on current regional tourism performance, drawing on insight from working with hundreds of accommodation providers and some of the South West’s leading destinations. This will include recent booking trends, where demand is coming from, and what we’re seeing across the market right now.
The main focus of the session will then shift to AI, from a practical, business-focused perspective.
Rather than just talking about the technology itself and trying to sell an audit, we’ll cover:
- How AI is changing the guest journey, from discovery through to booking
- What AI means for how guests search, compare and choose accommodation
- The shift from traditional Google search to AI-led search experiences
- What this means for your website, content and visibility
- What you should be doing now to maximise performance in AI-driven search
- Where things are heading over the next 12–24 months
Agenda
- 10:00 – 10:15 → Arrival, coffee & introductions
- 10:15 – 10:35 → Regional tourism performance & booking trends
