A local digital marketing agency is celebrating another record breaking year of growth.
MiHi Digital, which was created from a one-bedroom flat on the Exeter Quayside by online marketing specialist Mark Worden in 2013, grew by more than 20% over the past financial year, winning 58 new clients and launching 45 websites.
Director of MiHi Digital, Mark Worden said “It’s been another great year for us as a business and the fourth in a row we’ve been able to enjoy strong organic growth. The main driver of our enquiries continues to be word of mouth and recommendation from existing clients, something we are particularly proud of and pays testament to the level of service we aim to provide every business we work with.”
The past twelve months has seen a marked increase in work from the South West’s tourism and wedding industries, with the agency’s clients picking up no fewer than 16 gongs at this year’s regional tourism awards.
Mark explained “Having grown up in the South West I’ve always been passionate about promoting it as a destination; it’s got rugged moors, beautiful beaches as well as great food and drink – why would you go anywhere else with the family or friends! We’re lucky to work with some of the best in the business – people that are passionate about what they do, so it’s great to be able to help them make sure even more people hear and know about them.”
Demand has also continued to grow for the businesses’ website design service, with MiHi now launching a new site every 10 days.
Mark added “When it comes to building a website we want to make sure that it not only looks great, but is also seen by as many people as possible. The sites we launched in the past year now gain an average of 20% more traffic, with MiHi websites now seen by almost two million people each year.”
