We’re excited to share the launch of a brand-new website for William Sitwell – food writer, broadcaster, and host of some of the UK’s most sought-after dining events.

The brief was clear from the start: create a site that feels refined but approachable, puts William’s events front and centre, and makes it easy for people to book, shop and explore – all in one place.

A seamless way to book food events

A key focus of the project was simplifying how customers discover and book William’s food events. The new website integrates directly with TicketTailor, allowing visitors to browse upcoming events and secure tickets in just a few clicks.

From intimate dinners to larger hosted experiences, the booking system sits seamlessly within the site — no clunky redirects, no confusion, just a smooth and user-friendly journey from browsing to booking.

This integration not only improves the customer experience, but also makes event management easier behind the scenes.

‘The smallest wine store in the world’

One of our favourite features of the new site is the online shop: “The Smallest Wine Store in the World.” Curated personally by William, the shop offers a rotating selection of wines that are:

  • Hand-selected

  • Seasonally refreshed every few weeks

  • Paired with clear, thoughtful food-matching advice

Rather than overwhelming visitors with endless choice, the shop champions quality, personality and trust – inviting customers to buy wine with confidence, guided by William’s expertise.

It’s a simple concept, executed beautifully, and fully integrated into the website for an effortless shopping experience.

Visually, the site strikes a balance between classic and contemporary – reflecting William’s long-standing reputation in the food world while keeping things fresh and modern.
