Polo is sometimes considered a game for the elite. Well not anymore! Andrew Burgess, who moved down to the duchy with his family a few years ago, is aiming to make the sport more mainstream.
South West Polo teaches those wanting to learn the skills behind the game, and gives them the opportunity to have a go with other like-minded and friendly folk at the weekends!
They’re involved in the popular Polo on the Beach event held at Watergate Bay each year, so if you’ve seen that and are itching to give it a go yourself, now could be your time to take to the grass of a local farm in Wadebridge and see how much fun it can be.
